History of the Center
The Center wanted a video to show at their 50th anniversary.
I designed a flatlay video that combined interviews and archival objects to give a brief but engaging overview of the Center's fifty year history.
The Center screened the video at their anniversary celebration. The video was also used to promote awareness on Facebook, and continues to serve as an anchor on the Center's online archive page.
What is C21?
The Center wanted a quick way to share their mission.
I designed, shot, and edited a three minute mission video that captured the spirit and vision of the Center.
The video was used for the Center's website redesign, and continues to anchor the About section of their website.
Critical | Public | Digital
Instead of yearly themes, the Center was re-organizing their programming around three clusters of inquiry: critical, public, and digital humanities.
I designed, shot, and edited a video that explained what critical, public, and digital humanities meant in the context of the Center's work.
The video was used for the Center's website redesign, and continues to introduce the Center's online Research page.
Seeing the 21st Century
One of my goals in working for the Center was helping them to create images that they could use to organize and visualize their programming. As part of my video work, I designed a ten-second video bumper that could be used to bring together all future center videos under a common header. The imagery from this introduction has since been used by the Center for their websites, their newsletters, and to promote their podcast.
